I decided to purchase these bad boys on a random whim one day after purchasing these same mechanical pencils but in the larger assorted color pack a few days earlier. I decided to purchase this duo because I noticed these 2 specific colors weren't in the larger pack and I thought they needed to be, haha, but in all seriousness these mechanical pencils, hands down provide the most smooth, effortless writing experience ever. My handwriting looks impeccable, flows in a even and consistent manner, and I can't help but notice that there aren't any cruel and uncomfortable pressure points on my hands or especially fingers like I normally get when using mechanical pencils or otherwise. Papermate has been my go to writing utensil brand for years now because their products are just over the moon phenomenal. I cannot say enough good things about these pencils or Papermate in general!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Writing Pencils! I have a habit of going through pencils a lot. Most of them end up breaking easily. I did not have a problem with the Papermate Clearpoint 0.99. I could it to be long lasting. The grip was a good fit for me. My writing was smooth. I am very happy with this product! It was long lasting before I had to refill. My pros are my writing experience was very wonderful! There are no cons for me.

I love that it’s reusable for example we were out of lead or eraser we just buy extra and refill it up. I have been using this mechanical pencil for years since I was in middle school end up to this day I still have a couple of them that I’ve been having since those days it’s an amazing product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pencil Great pencil. I love how it weights. Lead is strong and does not break easily and is nice and dark. Does not write with a shein or a glare that I find most often with other lead pencils when working in my workbooks for school. Easy to refill and the eraser is clean and smooth. It dosent smudge or leave Mark's when erases. It erases nice and clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Leaf happiness I been busting these amazing lead pencils since I was in 5 grade and now I am in 11 I have never changed my favorite mechanical pencil for another one because this pencil has all the great qualities writes amazing that I makes you want to keep writing more and more . They have all the colors. I will never change them for another pencil !

I stole it from someones desk.. and i remember it wrote perfectly I thought it improved my handwriting since I've started to use it. I use different pencils but no other pencil has compared to this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Writes Smooth The bic Clearpoint 0.9MM Mechanical Pencil 2CD SS writes smooth, less breakage when using a thicker lead.   I like that the lead clicker is easily accessible as your writing.  The eraser does well to erase lighter marks, darker marks seem to take more effort and sometimes still noticeable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Favorite! Absolutely fussy about my pencils. Until I used these mechanical pencils, I felt on an endless quest to find a perfect pencil. The lead is nice and dark and doesn’t require extreme pressure. The eraser is outstanding, leaves no smudges or smears. I will buy these again!
