I love writing with pencils so if i mess up it is easy to erase it and redo it. These are so cute and colorful and just cheerful in general. I absolutely love the mechanical pencils over regular, and the types like this with the roll out eraser are amazing. I love that you have a longer eraser and can just twist the top when it starts to get low, or even replace it when its gone! These write the color that the pencil is, so i love writing my personal notes in fun colorful colors. Then you are also able to erase the writing as well. My kids keep trying to steal them! Writes smooth and doesn't break easy like some leads will.

Rated 5 out of 5 by skylasage from Colored lead pencils My twins love lead pencils so they were super excited to try these paper mate lead pencils that have the cool colored lead! The pencil itself is made well and has a nice textured grip with a side click button to release the lead. These also have a jumbo eraser that actually works very well especially since these have colored lead. This set comes in 6 bright colors, pink, red, orange, green, blue, and purple. They are fun to use for drawing and coloring or working on homework with. Overall, I'd recommend these for adults and kids alike!

I really love how thick the lead is so it does not break easily and I am able to complete my work without running out of lead. I love the different colors of the lead which make it so nice when I need to usually highlight something I can just choose another color to stand out. I like how nice they feel in my hand, so easy to hold and does not hurt my fingers. Whats even better is the fact that these are lead and you can erase them. I really can not find one thing I do not like about these mechanical pencils. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is looking for a new set of fun colorful pencils by a well known and trusted brand as you will not be disappointed by these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jen2k from Work and look Amazing This is the first time I have owned Mechanical colored pencils and I have to say I am impressed. They work so much better than the average colored pencil. When drawing lines with them they are more defined and look a lot clearer. The pencils work great and are easy to use. The lead in them is thick enough that you can push down when coloring or writing with and it wont break, yet it is not too thick so the results look amazing. They are comfortable to hold in your hand. They are easy to grip as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JAZS from Love them! So when I got these, I thought they were just nice mechanical pencils in nice colors. Somehow I missed on the packaging that the LEAD was different colors. I was so excited when I start to write and the color was purple. They write ever smoothly and feel really nice in my hand. They also erase very well. These are going to be prefect for when I go back to school, I love taking notes in different colors but am the worse speller, so having these pencils in different colors will be a life saver.

I found them to write really clearly and have nice colors. The only thing was that the red pencil was light, didn’t really look red, but besides that, there great!! For my daughter the eraser was one of the best features. She usually gets frustrated when she makes a mistake on her pictures, so the erasers are perfect. She wants me to buy her more, which I will!!

I highly encourage everyone to utilize different colors to help retain the information better. With this set, I can do that and more. My son loves to borrow them for his drawings as well. Seems like my family has taken to it. I love that they're retractable pencils. They're good quality color lead in 6 different colors and can be erased if needed. Perfect!

I didn't know I had a need for it in my life until I discovered Paper Mate Clearpoing Colored Pencils! I like them and I really like that if you error even so slightly that it can be erased. I was using them for work, but my wife borrowed them for her adult coloring book and enjoyed them as well! Very cool item!

While the pencils are designed to be refillable, the color lead is currently only sold inside full pencil sets rather than as individual refill packs, so customers typically need to purchase another set to get additional colors.
