Most work well with a couple choppy
I got these Paper Mate Ink Joy Gel Metallic Pens for free in exchange for my honest review. Most of the pens worked great, the pink was a bit choppy. And the gold wouldn't work well for me at all. As you may see one pen is missing in the picture my kids ran off with it before I could take pics. The missing pen worked but was a little choppy the rest of the pens have worked well so far, with a smooth flow for writing purposes. Considering the cost I would buy this pack of pens myself.

Love these pens!
I absolutely love the metallic gel pens! I am always taking notes and I have plans to do some art work on some blank card stock. These pens are perfect for note taking and artwork. I like the metallic effect when I move the paper after having written and drawing with them. The pens are easy to use and mess free. No smudges or staining. I love the variety of colors the gel pens come in. Totally worth collecting and using for your special projects and everyday use.

Shiny and write well
Since I do a lot of journaling and planning, I was happy to try these Metalic Papermate pens! Once dry, they have a nice reflection to them in the right light, and you can detect tiny sparkles. I find the yellow and pink ones most reflective. I tried a writing test on them all, and after the first couple of words, they all wrote very well without skipping. Like other pens, you gotta warm them up. I am going to enjoy using these pens in my journals and would recommend!

Pretty colors
As a kid I always gravitated towards shiny or glittery pens if I had any choice. This three pack is kind of like going back to being a kid but with a more mature looking pen, which is honestly kind of great. For the most part the writing is smooth (the bronze was a little iffy at first) and I really like the colors. Silver doesn't really have the metallic effect of the others but is still a nice color. Overall, I'm really happy with the pens and my kids are, too.

Smooth
I am obsessed with good pens. I’m in college, so I write notes by the notebook! These pens are *chef’s kiss*. They are super smooth when I write with them. The smoothness makes it easier to write quickly. I don’t have to worry about the pen messing up either in the middle of writing. Reliable pens are a must! I love the colors of the ink and the boldness of the pens. All in all, fantastic pens. PaperMate InkJoy are my go to for writing all my college notes!

Perfect for note taking
great quality. I have been studying for an exam and I love using these to spice up my notes. Makes it easy to read and understand because of the ink quality being so pigmented. I love writing my notes in a neutral black color and then using these shades to point towards specific key notes that i want to focus on or go back to. Very fast and easy to add a quick note. This product lasts a long time, very reliable and makes writing notes fun! I love them!

Paper Mate Ink Joy Gel Metallic Pens
I absolutely love my new Paper Mate Ink Joy Gel Metallic Pens. This set of ten pens come in an assortment of vibrant colors that have a nice, metallic finish that shine on light and/or dark paper. Each pen has an ergonomic grip and a retractable tip that makes writing very comfortable. The pens glide super easily on the paper. I love using them to grade papers, but they are also great for journaling, scrapbooking or just doodling.

Decent pens to add something extra.
I honestly love the grey and the bronze colored pens! They add a little sparkle to notes or letters and provide a much needed change up from traditional blue or black pens. They feel smooth and fast on paper and glide when writing. The only reason why this is a 4 star and not a 5 is that the yellow pen was a let down. The ink was not as reliable as the other two colors and was generally difficult to see on traditional white paper.

Papermate Inkjoy Gel Pens Not for Every Type of Pa
Thanks to @influenster for sending me these @papermate #inkjoymetallic pens to try out. I love gel pens and use that kind on a daily basis. The finer, the better. These ink joy pens have a medium time and advertise that they are able to shine on both light and dark papers. Out of the three, the only one that met that expectation was the silver one. The other two didn't have a great ink flow and didn't write that well.

Good Pens
These Paper Mate ink Joy Pens are good, but not great. They mostly glide smooth while writing, but a few of them skip every so often. I even used them for a bit to get the ink flowing, and they still skipped a bit, but it wasn't enough to be too disruptive. They are comfortable to use. They don't smear, which as a leftie is something I struggle with while using pens. I do wish the ink was a bit darker, though.

Writing just got a whole lot smoother
I love these Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Metallic Pens! They write so smoothly, and the ink dries fast, so no smudging perfect for lefties too. The metallic finish gives a nice shimmer without being over the top, making notes and doodles look extra special. The 0.8mm tip is just the right balance between bold and precise, and the grip is super comfy for long writing sessions. Definitely my new favorite pens!

Just ok
I had high hopes for these pens, as I usually love the ink joy pens, but these fell short for me. The package came damaged and it felt like the pens had been used (the little plastic bead was missing from most of them). I don't know if they just dried out or need to be used more, but only a few really wrote smoothly. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but these did not perform like I'd hoped.

Good set of pens
Receive the is product free to try. The packaging on the outside was fine when getting it but once I opened it I saw the bottom was cut open but all the pens were there. The comfort of writing with the pens is pretty good I like the thickness of the pen. He ink quality could be better once I start really writing it does leave streaks especially when making lines. I would buy again

Silver gets the gold metal for me!
It’s hard to capture the true color of these pens in a photo, but they’re really beautiful.not smudge proof. The gold took a little scribbling to get it started. I would suggest it for black or darker paper rather than white. They have a nice feel in your hand. I’m glad they came out with these new colors! I’ve bought other colors before and like those so these were a nice tread!

Great Color in Beautiful Metallics!
I gave these pens to my daughter, she loved the comfortable smooth design of the pens. It made for a nice grip, which is wonderful because she is an artist who uses a tight grip when working. The ink has a lovely pigment, making it high quality. We would suggest when using to let the ink dry a bit before rubbing over it, it did smudge a little (which you can see in the photo).

Fun colored pens
I received the Paper Mate ink joy gel, metallic pens to try out. The pens took a few swipes on the paper to start flowing. Once they started the pens worked smoothly on white paper. I like how they feel in my hand. However, I was disappointed with how the pens write on black/dark paper. None of the colors really showed up. The colors are fun for doodling on light paper.

Nice Pens!
These pens are nice colors! They write well on white but would probably be best on black. Most of them are smooth and what I’ve come to expect from ink joy. Only one or two colors weren’t as smooth but that’s probably because they were missed the protective ball and just need to be ran a little to get the ink flowing. All in all, I highly recommend! I love this brand!

One wasn’t good
The gold pen writes really well and smooth as you can tell in my picture where I tested it out on a piece of blue paper and it is very metallic. The rose goldish one didn’t write as smooth, but you could still tell pretty well and the silver one had a very hard time writing smooth. I felt like I had to constantly keep trying to adjust it to get it to write correctly.

Inconsistent pens, can do better.
I received these Paper Mate metallic pens for review, and as a bit of a self admitted pen snob, these pens are mediocre. Out of my 10 pack the pink was unusable right out of the pack. That's never something you want. I had to work to get the ink working in many of the pens. Slow ink flow. Unreliable & inconsistent is not something I would recommend in a pen.

Fun colors!
These pens are such fun to use! They truly are metallic in effect. The peach colored one is my favorite! As a teacher, you know we love our pens! My only concern is that the ink is not as easy flowing as I was hoping it would be. Hopefully with continued use it will improve. I love the quick click and use featured. Plus it’s easy to stay put on a lanyard.

There are better pens
I do like the packaging and the feel of the pen, but the ink quality is not that great. The only two pens that wrote smoothly is the two blue ones. I do like paper mates design of these pens, but I do not think they are worth your money. The colors are fine, but my biggest Takeaway is that they don’t write smooth and the whole usability is not very good.

I cannot believe how efficient the ink is, plus it has not smudged! This is a high quality pen I am in love with. The only downside was the gold gel pen. It is hard to see the ink when writing. However it is perfect to grade papers with. Oh and did I mention the texture of the pen adds to the comfort of use? Overall this product gets two thumbs up.

Fun way to jazz up your writing!
These pens are so fun! I love the fact they show up on light or dark paper. I love all the colors. When I tested these pens, it seemed like some colors wrote smoother than others, but that could have been because not all the pens had that little gel cap on the end. I’m hoping with more use the ink will start to flow a little better and faster.

Smooth writing
These paper mate metallic gel pens write so smoothly. I tested them again on rough paper and oh my! They are simply magic. The color comes out perfectly with a metallic glow. You can write swiftly and the ink is very efficient, not runny and not spotty! When picking the pen up it will connect perfectly to the previous line. I highly recommend.

Metallic pens...
The range of colors is great. It says they are medium but they don't write as smooth as others I've written with. Some colors are vibrant and others are hard to see on white paper. A few of them seem to have dried out also. I had to press down pretty hard. I'm sure these would show more vibrant on dark paper. I also wish they wrote smoother.

Bright and fun!
The Papermate Inkjoy feels like a solid, sturdy pen in your hand and they provide a smooth writing experience! The colors on the particular metallic set are very vibrant and bold. These would be great for elementary teachers grading papers as the colors are fun and would stick out on the paper. They also glide well on standard letter paper.

These might be the coolest pens ever. They have a nice barrel, the perfect grip if you have arthritis. They write smooth. The cool think is these pens actually have glitter in the ink, so when you write it sparkles. I most definitely need to use them in my adult coloring books. I love these and would definitely purchase these again.

Beautiful ink that writes smooth!
Iloved the Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Bright pens! It came in a pack of 3 metallic multicolor pens. The ink is an 0.8 mm gel (medium point) that completely stands out on any colored paper! It was so smooth to write with and didn't smear, which is important for left handers. They came in a peachy, mustard and gray colored ink. These vibrant colored pens work great for bullet journaling, doodling, card making and a lot more. I loved all of the colors but my favorite was the gray colored pen. The ink colors gorgeous in person. The color looks spot on to the pen itself. I also found them to be much smoother than your typical gel pens. The ink has a metallic shine to it in the light. There are ergonomic grip wraps around the pens to keep it from slipping in your hand while writing with them.
It actually feels really great writing with these pens. I highly recommend these pens to everyone, especially left handed people who don't want pens that smear as they write!

Writes smooth
I love that they came out with these! I’m always forgetting to put my caps back on so I love the click button. The color on the silver is the best cause it’s dark. I had some trouble at first with the rose gold color but they all work smoothly and have a good amount of ink with each word when writing. I would definitely buy again
