Rated 2 out of 5 by emmat222 from Ink doesn’t come out well Overall disappointment in these pens. In your hand they feel good, and you’re able to get a good grip while holding them. While writing I found that the pen would skip on the paper. The ink was also barely coming out of the tip of the pen. I had to go over areas multiple times to make it look okay, and even then it was still streaky. I like how the pen retracts so the ink won’t dry up fast. The more I used the pen it felt like maybe the ink was warming up, and coming out better, but no where near perfect. Another downside is the white pens need to be used on dark colored paper. If you are someone that doesn’t typically have this laying around, these pens are not for you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by nicolet238 from Beautiful, vibrant pens! I was so excited to receive these pens complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my honest review! These pens are a beautiful bright white that pops nicely against dark paper—almost a chalkboard effect! I am an avid scrapbooker and crafter and I can see these getting a ton of use on darker backgrounds. The only complaint is (as some reviewers have noted) the ink has a tendency to skip and get stuck in the pen. Warming it up lightly beforehand seems to make a difference but I did still have some issues (see unretouched photo for an example of the skipping)

Rated 3 out of 5 by sydney2 from Don’t dry well I received the Paper Mate Ink-joy Gel Bright pens in the color white as part of an incentivized ad campaign in exchange for my honest review. These pens are very comfortable in your hand and the color payoff is quite striking! The biggest factor for me buying pens however is drying time. I did a timed drying test on them and I would definitely say they failed. After two minutes, the ink still hadn’t completely dried so I was pretty disappointed in that. That being said they are great pens I just don’t personally think I’d purchase these!!

I’ve used and enjoyed Paper Mate products for years, and I love gel pens, so I had high hopes for these and they did not disappoint!! They write really smoothly and I like the thin tip for precise writing. I love being able to use a pen without needing to shake it to get more ink out. The color is also very vibrant and the ink dries quickly and does not smudge. Overall, if you need new pens and prefer gel pens to ballpoints, I would highly recommend these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ashleyk318 from A little streaky but bold These pens were super colorful and bold! It took a minute when I first tried these for the color to finally come out. Once they started working these colors were very bold and showed up impressively well on both black and white paper. Every now and then they become very streaky, especially you haven’t used them for a while. Even when you are using them constantly, they still have sparse streaks every now and then. Other than that, really enjoyed trying out these gel pens.

These pens did not disappoint as they are high quality with appealing packaging and style. I was gifted the white pack which show up best on dark paper. They glide very smoothly producing an even amount of ink with every stroke. They also provide a layer of cushion for comfort when writing. I love these pens and will be purchasing in other colors!

It’s been great to have these to my pen collection, especially since I didn’t previously own any white pens. They work exceptionally well on black paper but can also work with layering on top of other contrasting pen colors. The only thing that I dislike about the pen is that it tends to skip, even after shaking it and drawing test lines multiple times. Nevertheless, it’s still a very unique pen to own!

At first, the pigment wasn’t really there but after a while it started to flow really well. There are times when I have to go over the same spot again because the ink gives out but that’s common with a lot of pens. Overall, the white ink is really cool although I’m not sure how much use I will get out of it! It’s also a really comfortable been to use for my hand.
