My favorite!
I used to have a different favorite pen until I got this Paper Mate® FlexGrip Ultra™ Ballpoint Pens, Medium Point, 1.0 mm, Gray Barrel, Black Ink. Now I have a new favorite. Some pens are for fun and some pens are for business. This is my business pen. I like that it has black ink and I like that it's medium point because I write best with medium points and the flex grip barrel makes it so easy to hold on to and comfortable to write with. This one was for trial purposes and I will now go out and buy a box of 12. I don't ever want to be without one. I highly recommend the Paper Mate® FlexGrip Ultra™ Ballpoint Pens, Medium Point, 1.0 mm, Gray Barrel, Black Ink. It writes as smooth as they come.

Ok for your standard pen
This is a smooth, standard office pen. The ink flows easily. It’s definitely black. I did not need to place a piece of paper under it to get it to work. The ball rolls nicely. The grip is comfortable. It does contain a pen cap. Overall, this is a common and comforting pen. However, it isn’t particularly special either.

Comfortable pen.
This pen is comfortable in your fingers, It has a nice very smooth gliding ink. I really like that it is a click retractable point. I am impressed with the non smudging of this ink as well. I would definitely recommend this pen to anyone looking for a smooth everyday use pen.

This Paper Mate Flex grip pen is comfortable to hold and write with. I did have to scribble with it for quite some time to get the ink to flow. Once it got started it worked fine and didn’t skip or anything. The pen works fine but as a pen sob I must say it isn’t my favorite

Basic pen
This is what I would consider a basic pen. It is very standard but has great quality. The ink runs very smoothly, and makes a nice crisp line. I like that. The only part I don’t love is the grip. I expected the pen itself to be a little more comfortable to write with based on the name. It’s very thin and although the pen is soft, it doesn’t have any additional grip on it. Overall, I would definitely recommend it, but if you like a little extra thickness, then this isn’t the pen for you!

Very comfortable
I received a Paper Mate Flex Grip Ultra Ballpoint Pen medium point and was very pleased with the way it felt while writing with it. I do a lot of writing and have had pens that , after a while, leave my fingers sore. Using the Paper Mate Flex Grip, my fingers did not get sore one I had no indent in my finger that I get from other pens that I have used. The pen seems to glide over the paper with little pressure. I really like this pen and will definitely purchase more of them.

Really Good pen
I like this pen alot. It has a grip where you hold the pen, so your hand doesn't slip. The only bummer is I ordered a 12 pack and only got one. However, the pen writes nicely.You do have to push hard if you want the ink dark. I do wish the pen was one that you clicked and it comes out instead of a having a cap. The only reason for this, is pen caps get lost easily. Other than this, it felt good and sturdy in my hand.

Great pencil!
We go through a lot of pencil lead in our house. There are four homeschool students and we do a lot of old school writing. Sharpening pencils is a hassle so we gave mechanical pencils a try this year. The lead is great and we never have a short pencil again. Certainly worth the investment. They could have gotten five stars but the eraser isn't great. School is much more efficient now with pencils you don't have to sharpen.
