Perfect!
Paper Mate never disappoints! These pencils are genius. My first grader has such difficulty holding regular pencils properly and the design and shape help him properly hold a pencil. Which in turn have greatly improved his writing. He also likes being able to use a mechanical pencil, since these have thicker lead it doesn't break as easily. These are extremely cool and the fun colors just add fun to them. I highly recommend these!

My Favorite Pencils
I have bought multiples of these over the last few years. I work with preschoolers and have littles of my own so I was drawn to the thick lead and easy grip. Little did I know, but I fell in love with them too. Smooth writing and they don’t hurt my hand. My favorite pencils! I’ve even recommended them to friends and family that have loved them too!

Perfect Addition!
These pencils are exactly what every child needs to improve their handwriting skills. It helps the child hold and use a pencil a lot better then the standard one. The bright colors also make it that more more desirable for a child to use. These had tremendously helped my boys in their writing skills.

Love these!
These mechanical pencils are very comfortable to hold and easy to use. The lead is strong and doesn't break easily. The bright colored barrels make them look very fun. I really liked that they came with extra lead and erasers. These are perfect for my kid's little hands and he loves using them.

Super cool design
I chose to try the PM HW Mech Pencil 5 CT to help my son understand how he needs to hold a pencil correctly. These pencils have worked out great with him being able to position the pencil in the way that it needs to. He is just learning and they are working great for him and his awkward hands.

Awesome Pencils
These pencils are so amazing! They're comfortable to hold when writing and write so well! My child even loves them so much they won’t really let me have them. Would definitely recommend getting these and giving them a try for any child or adult who needs some good mechanical pencils.

Great for beginners
I teach art to kids of all ages. When my youngest students struggle with using a pencil, I pull these out. Not only are they fun colors, they fit nicely in their hand and smoothly glide across the paper. Love them and will continue to let them be used for the rest of my career.

Best pencils
I bought these for me to use as a teacher. The writing shows up on the document camera because it is a thicker line and the leads never break! The shape makes them easy to hold. These are designed for children learning to write but are great for anyone!

It would be nice if a) the erasers were white, which make erasing mistakes cleaner and easier and b) eraser and lead refills were available for purchase separately. I know neither of those are an option at this time.
