Rated 5 out of 5 by klaunder4817 from The Perfect Pencil It's been awhile since I bought a mechanical pencil and I didn't really expect much of a different experience from the last time I bought them but Paper Mate has upped their game. I have always loved the Paper Mate brand and relied on them for school and office supplies and will continue to as my own son grows up and needs supplies for school. These have a comfortable grip and the lead is nice and sturdy and doesn't constantly break. I really like that the eraser is a good size since I remember I used to go through them constantly. I would definitely recommend to others!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BailMT from The only pencils I will write with I was not blessed with neat handwriting by in my career, I have many people reading my work and I am judge on how neat my handwriting is. I am almost 30 years old so it is not practical to try to improve my handwriting, instead I use these pencils. I love the 0.7MM lead because it is small enough to stay neat but also bold enough when it needs to be. I like that the eraser twists up and out but just as easily twists in. This eraser does not leave any dark marks either. I also love they come with extra led. These are some of the only writing utensils that I have for their life span without losing. Also, in 2021, we do not write as often as we used to so the grip is such a nice feature to prevent my finger from getting sore.

For example the upper part of the pencil twist back and forward to access the eraser, and it also has a push button in order for the graphite leads to show or hide every time you need it. I really like the clear barrel, because you can see the full mechanism and also looks cool, very sophisticated. Another great advantage is the rubber textured grip, its convenient and comfortable all time, excellent for writing essays. I personally reccomend it to everyone, I bought several pencils for my kids because of the #2 leads that are perfect for school, and also for my office to take notes. It's a high quality 0.7 mm pencil that gives the exact precision to have neat homework.

I like that it comes in a set of three mechanical pencils with a lead filler and two extra erasers. My children like writing with these because they don't have to worry about sharpening their pencils and also because they have nice little grips towards the bottom of the pencils to protect your fingers from hurting. It's also good that the area where the erasers are located twist around which make it easier to use the eraser.

I use them frequently when updating my monthly wall calendar, as I prefer to write in pencil rather than pen, as things sometimes change and need to be erased. At the same time, these mechanical pencils provide a much clearer pencil stroke and writing versus your standard pencil, and also have the benefit of not needing to be sharpened. I would recommend these if you are in need of pencils.

I love the way the pencil fits in my hand, it's extremely comfortable and doesn't give me calluses like other pens and pencils do. My son really enjoys using these pencils for school work too! I like that these pencils have a side clicker instead of how it normally is on the eraser. I like that the erasers twist up also. Overall, this is a great product. I highly recommend and will also be buying this brand again!

First off, it has a grip where you hold it when you write. This made for a comfortable writing experience. The lead itself glides smoothly over the paper when writing. It did not break easily either. The eraser does not leave any smears or smudges. These pencils are now my go-to writing utensils. I am impressed.
