My favorite feature is the tip of the mechanical pencils are break-resistant & shock absorbing. The replacement lead and erasers are great. They are easy to load and has a comfortable grip. I highly recommend them because they are great quality, durable pencils. With these, you do not need to worry about having a dull pencil anymore; no more looking for a pencil sharpener. It is a top of the line product I love using.

Great pens
These pens are great for writting. It’s clear, fine and sharp! The grip is very comfortable. I do not feel aches on my fingers after writing. The side click is new to me but I am liking it. I rarely use the function but when I need that function, it’s there and easy. The eraser is great. I can make clean corrections. Overall, it’s a great mechanical pencil with new features. I highly recommend it.

Excellent Writing Tool
I'm not a big fan of pencil writing. Primarily because the lead gets dull very quickly in a traditional sharpening pencil. I like mechanical pencils, especially with .7mm lead, because the point remains sharp. These pencils did not disappoint! I also loved the elongated eraser. Often you run out of eraser before the pencil is done. It's wonderful that this problem is now solved!

Lightweight, comfortable grip
I write a lot due to my job. I prefer using pencils to ink as I can erase mistakes without scratching thru them. Keeps my paper clean. This is a 2 pack of quality .7mm mechanical pencils. Includes extra lead refill and extra erasers. The pencils are comfortable in my hand, easy to refill as needed. Lead is good quality and doesn't easily break off with pressure.

Perfect!
I recently received this Paper Mate mechanical pencils in the color black and I am beyond impressed. First of all I love the design of the handle of this pencil it is very easy to hold onto and makes drawing or writing very easy. I would highly recommend these to anybody looking for a great new pencil I find myself reaching for these every single day.

I love paper mate pencils
If you are anything like me you dislike sharpening pencils? I only use mechanical pencils because of that. The grip on this paper mate pencil is very comfortable. It comes with 2 pencils which last for forever. It comes with plenty of refillable led and the led is super easy to replace. Thank you paper mate for making such wonderful products.

Great Pencils
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to like these so much! They are more comfortable than some other pencils. They make writing very easy and fluid. The eraser is good quality and the pencil doesn’t leave pressure marks unless you press pretty hard. I had to fight my teenager to keep them so I guess I will be buying more!

Great for busy work!
I absolutely love these mechanical pencils because they’re great when you have to do a lot of writing. With my career field I have to do a lot of writing math and factoring and writing with a traditional wooden pencil can be quite tedious and hard on my hand so it’s nice to have something that has a soft crabs and that has a lid that’s durable and that won’t break if I press a little too hard. I also like that the erasers are long enough to where you don’t have to worry about replacing them every other week. They last a long time and the lead lasts a long time as well. I am for someone that’s left-handed like myself it’s really important to have a nice comfortable grip and it’s also important to be able to use a product that doesn’t smear this product does not smear. And yes lid can’t smear and smudge on a paper but I haven’t had that issue with these particular pencils. I would definitely recommend them to any left-handed person looking for a good comfortable grip pencil

I have been using these pencils for several years and I have had several last multiple years in highschool and college. I am obsessed with how comfortable they are to hold and write with the lead and writing is smooth as butter. I adore these pencil I think they are the best mechanical pencil on the market.

Easy Grip and Steady Lead
One of my biggest pet peeves with mechanical pencils is when the lead constantly breaks! I have been using these pencils for awhile now and while there is some breakage, the breakage has been a lot less and that has been a nice bonus. The grip of these pencils are nice to have and allows for longer use.

I love this pencil it is wonderful. Easy to refill and easy to use. Also I can use it to write and to draw both which is something I really like. Since i write a lot of poetry and also have been trying to draw now since my husbands passing. I need ways to keep myself busy and this has helped thank you.

I got these a few weeks ago for my daughter in college. She is very picky on her mechanical pencils she uses for homework. She LOVES these! They have a good grip, the lead doesn't break easy and they feel comfortable as she uses them. She now wants more of these, so I will be buying more in the future!

Love these!
I actually own some with the smaller led of the same style and I love these pencils. I use them to draw with and the erasers on them are great, they don't have that hard rubber feel that some of them do. This makes erasing things easier and overall these pencils get the job done and they do it well!

Dark lead easy to use
These are some very good pencils. The lead is dark and sturdy. The lead does not pop easily and my children were able to complete homework without stopping to constantly pump more lead through the pencil shaft making homework a breeze.

Very good quality.
This is a great product! I will tell others and this lead. I appreciate that the lead is easy to change and doesn't break easily. My kids were even able to change the lead without help. I like that this product is kids friendly too.

I was satisfied with the way the #2 Mechanical Pencils from paper mate wrote. The mechanics to the pencil worked very well and the pencil was comfortable in my hand. I write heavy and I didn't have any issues with the lead breaking.

Got this about a month or two ago. This is an awesome product, come with the replacement lead and erasers, easy to use, reload, will definitely be buying this product again. They also have finer mm on lead if you need thinner lines

Don't break it trying to open it
Took me a beat to figure out how to open the back of the pencil to add lead. You just pull it straight out. No twisting just pull it out. I really like the feel of these pencils, they're not fancy but they have a nice weight.

Works great
Paper mate is a well known brand in my house with school age kids. The pencils are great and work forever. The lead doesn't seem to break as easy as some other brands. They are easy to use and the eraser is pretty good too.

Nice weight! Feels like and expensive pen
I use me mechanical pencils all of the time... this feels well balanced and a perfect weight for hours of sketching and scaled drawings. I will be stocking up on these and hiding from my teen who constantly loses hers ..

Hi, Annie. If the eraser will not lock in place on the Paper Mate Clearpoint Elite Mechanical Pencil, spin the eraser out until it will go no further. Then hold on to the twist and push the eraser down until it will go no further. Once fully pushed in twist the eraser back down and retry. Have a nice day!

Hi, Suzi54. To refill the lead of PaperMate Clearpoint Elite Mechanical Pencil, unscrew the top of the barrel (colored part of the pencil) and insert the new lead. Screw the top portion of the barrel back. Click the pencil a few times to advance the lead. Have a great day!
