Rated 5 out of 5 by Lindacarol7 from High quality! So I like many others am now working from home and no longer have the office supply closet to raid for whatever I might need. I got these for myself as I was getting tired of getting up to sharpen my old school yellow no 2 pencils all day. I work as a technical designer and although my ‘finished’ work is done using cad I spend a lot of time sketching plans, do calculations and plain old clear the brain doodling on pads of paper with a pencil. These mechanical pencils are great! I chose the thicker, softer lead to more closely emulate how an old school pencil draws, but these are so much better! First-hand comfort- they fit my hand comfortably and actually fit the contours of my hand and I can use them for hours without cramping my hand, getting pressure marks on my hand. They are lightweight but still have enough heft for easy control. The clicker to advance the lead works every time without breaking the leads (which are easy to load). The lead are the perfect softness and thickness and do not snap off . They lay down a nice, even and dark line and are great for notes as again, they don’t snap off and produce a nice dark letter and the lead never does snagged on my paper..of course when the lead get short you just click and get more lead allowing greater productivity. The replaceable eraser cleans up erroors nicely without smudging or chewing up the paper surface. These are made very well and I recommend them highly.
